Hult Price at NEC(Nepal Engineering College) recently hosted the prestigious Hult Prize Finals, a global competition that challenges students to develop innovative business models to address critical global issues. Led by Campus Director Liza Tamang, the event witnessed a vibrant display of entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking.

Three teams presented their groundbreaking ideas to a panel of esteemed judges, including Er. Himal Rawal (Founder of Sipalaya InfoTech), Er. Krishna Bikram Shah (Senior Engineer and Researcher), Prof. Sabitri Tripathi (Former Head of Science and Humanities Department, NEC), Anshu Ghimire (Assistant Professor at NEC), and Krishna Bhakta Duwal (CEO of Eco Panel).

The Kehi Aniyamit team, comprising Sulav Timalsina and Manjil Shrestha, emerged as the winners, showcasing a compelling and impactful business solution.

Team Algenol with members Sushil Upadhaya, Ruby Adhikari, Aashika Pandey, Sushant Poudel) and team Hangma with members Puja Gupta, Pasang Bhote secured the second and third positions respectively.

The judges provided valuable feedback, guiding the teams in refining their business models for greater impact. The Kehi Aniyamit team will now advance to the regional finals, representing NEC on a global stage.
