Hult Prize, People’s Campus successfully conducted an interactive session on Social Entrepreneurship and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the BBA faculty.
The event, with 63 enthusiastic participants, was designed to cultivate innovative thinking and explore business models driven by social impact.
The program opened with a warm welcome from Ms. Aakriti Shakya, followed by an insightful presentation by Ms. Yashaswi Shrestha of the Marketing and Communication team. Using a unique and relatable “lifeline” example, Ms. Shrestha simplified the complexities of the 17 SDGs, effectively demonstrating how social entrepreneurship serves as a vital tool for global progress.
Transitioning from theory to practice, participants formed small teams to brainstorm original social business ideas. After a period of refinement to ensure their concepts aligned with specific SDGs, the teams presented their models to the audience. These presentations showcased a remarkable range of creativity and a shared commitment to solving real-world challenges.

The Organizing Committee evaluated the pitches, selecting both a winning team and a best presenter for their exceptional vision. Advisor Bikash Timsina and Deputy Campus Director Suraj Regmi presented the winners with chocolates as a token of appreciation for their active participation.
The session concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Aakriti Shakya, who expressed gratitude for the energy and dedication shown by the future leaders of People’s Campus.
