The Hult Prize at People’s Campus ignited a wave of creative energy on January 25, 2026, hosting a high-impact session on Design Thinking and the Innovation Sprint. With 58 aspiring change-makers in attendance, the event served as a dynamic launchpad for turning socially conscious ideas into viable business models.
The program opened with a warm welcome from Yashaswi Shrestha of the Marketing and Collaboration team, followed by a traditional khada welcome for guest speaker Mr. Ajay Yadav by organizing member Barsha Rai. Moving swiftly beyond theory, Mr. Yadav utilized his deep expertise in development studies to lead a fast-paced Innovation Sprint. He bridged the gap between classroom concepts and professional solutions, pushing students to think critically about real-world application.
A highlight of the interactive session was the analysis of “Embrace” from the Stanford Challenge. By examining how this social enterprise developed life-saving infant warmers, students gained a practical roadmap for empathy-driven innovation. The session proved truly meaningful, offering students a rare blend of inspiration and technical strategy.

As the event concluded, Campus Director Rozim Maharjan honored Mr. Yadav with a ‘Token of Love’ to commemorate the impactful day. Mr. Biswash Paudel of the Start-ups team followed with a heartfelt thank-you to the organizers, while Yashaswi Shrestha delivered the final closing remarks, praising the participants for their vibrant energy. The event wrapped up with a group photo, capturing a collective of inspired students now equipped to turn their social impact visions into reality.
