A five-day sound healing training aimed at promoting holistic health and conscious living was successfully conducted in Bangkok by the Shree Hari Self-Realization Foundation.
The 48-hour program, held from April 1 to 5, was organized by Himalayan Innovate in coordination with Durga Art and Handicraft, Kathmandu. The training was led by the foundation’s founder, Chandra Hari Kayastha, based in Bhaktapur, Nepal.
A total of 10 participants from Thailand, Vietnam, India, and Nepal attended the program. Participants came from diverse professional backgrounds, including healthcare, education, business, and social sectors.
The training combined elements of yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, lifestyle management, and Nada Yoga, presenting sound healing as both a scientific and spiritual practice.
Speaking during the sessions, Kayastha said that maintaining health requires personal responsibility, emphasizing that balanced diet, positive thinking, and regular meditation play key roles in physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. He described sound healing as a safe and accessible method for managing stress in today’s fast-paced world, adding that it could also offer new professional opportunities.
The program followed his recent completion of a Chaitra Navaratri water fasting practice. At the closing ceremony, Nepal’s Ambassador to Thailand, Dhan Bahadur Oli, distributed certificates to participants and highlighted the importance of promoting yoga, meditation, and alternative healing practices at the international level. He also expressed support for similar initiatives in the future.
According to Himalayan Innovate co-founder Sharmila Syangtang, this was the fourth such training held in Thailand, with additional programs planned. Founder Anish Blon Lama said there are plans to expand similar initiatives to countries including Australia and China.
The foundation stated that it has reached individuals in more than 105 countries so far, with Thailand becoming the 33rd country where it has conducted direct training. Participants described the program as practical and beneficial for improving lifestyle and overall well-being.
