Sound Healing Training Held In Bangkok Promotes Global Wellness Approach

An ancient Himalayan therapeutic tradition took center stage in Thailand as a transformative five-day sound healing training was successfully conducted in Bangkok. Drawing professionals from health, education, business, and social sectors across Thailand, Vietnam, India, and Nepal, the 48-hour program was spearheaded by the Shree Hari Self-Realization Foundation and organized by Himalayan Innovate, in coordination with Kathmandu’s Durga Art and Handicraft.

Led by the foundation’s visionary founder, Chandra Hari Kayastha—who arrived fresh from a rigorous Chaitra Navaratri water fast—the seminar presented sound healing as both a scientific and spiritual practice. The curriculum seamlessly fused elements of yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, lifestyle management, and Nada Yoga to realign the body’s energy fields and soothe the nervous system.

During the sessions, Kayastha stated that maintaining health requires deep personal responsibility, emphasizing that a balanced diet, positive thinking, and regular meditation play key roles in physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. He described sound healing as a safe and accessible method for managing stress in today’s fast-paced world, while offering valuable new professional paths for practitioners.

This rising international interest in alternative therapies was highlighted at the closing ceremony, where Nepal’s Ambassador to Thailand, Dhan Bahadur Oli, distributed certificates and pledged diplomatic backing for future wellness exchanges.

The successful gathering marks the fourth wellness iteration in Thailand for Himalayan Innovate. Co-founder Sharmila Syangtang noted that growing regional demand has prompted plans for additional programs, while founder Anish Blon Lama revealed blueprints to expand these authentic sound healing initiatives to Australia and China.

With this milestone, Thailand becomes the 33rd country to receive direct training from the Shree Hari Self-Realization Foundation, which has reached individuals in over 105 nations. As the newly certified practitioners return to their respective sectors, they carry forward a practical, cross-border approach to improving lifestyle and global well-being.
