A profound spiritual bridge has been fortified between Japan and Nepal as a group of seekers recently concluded a transformative journey from physical wellness to enlightenment. Under the Himalayas’ serene shadow, this initiative harmonized ancient traditions with modern seeking.
The intensive program, held from April 19 to 21 at the Dolma Hotel Gumba, resulted from a collaboration between the Srihari Self-Realization Foundation, Nagoya’s Yoga Bodhi Pro Academy, and Durga Art and Handicraft. Participants engaged in a holistic curriculum of morning meditation, traditional yoga, and resonant sound healing. Aiko Inagoma, founder of the Japan Yoga Bodhi Pro Academy, noted that the journey serves as a vital catalyst for spiritual tourism and deeper cultural understanding between both nations.
Beyond meditation, the Japanese delegation immersed themselves in the living heritage of the Kathmandu Valley. Guided by the vision of Foundation President Chandrahari Kayastha and Secretary Prem Kumar Lama, the group explored the spiritual depths of UNESCO sites like Swoyambhunath and Pashupatinath. The experience featured Dharma teachings from Rinpoches, philosophical Satsangs, and Ayurvedic treatments. The visitors were particularly moved by Nepali hospitality, traditional costumes, and the vibrant energy of the Machhindranath Rath Yatra.
The Srihari Self-Realization Foundation remains a global beacon, having spent thirty-five years sharing alternative medicine and yoga with millions across 105 countries. This exchange marks a milestone in their mission to create a spiritually connected world. As the program concluded, it was clear that the search for health and joy is a universal heartbeat that Nepal is uniquely equipped to guide.
